About Oak Grove Alpacas
Each spring at Oak Grove Alpacas we shear our herd of 22 huacaya alpacas. We then wash the fleece, spin the fleece into yarn and weave or knit beautiful finished products. Alpaca fleece is very soft and does not itch like sheeps wool can. An item made from alpaca is much warmer than an item made from wool.
